community. The daily menu is composed of a variety of macarons, pastries, cakes, mousse
cakes, tarts, cream puffs, signature Just Jars, and more. Raveena & the team at Just Cakes
Bakeshop strives to bring excellence and perfection to each dessert and cake that is created in
the Bakeshop. The Bakeshop team consists of world-class pastry chefs, Red Seal certified,

Raveena Oberoi

Raveena is a self-taught baker and cake designer turned pastry chef. Raveena found her passion at the ripe age of 16, when she was creating cakes for friends and families, even creating some of her high school projects in cake form. Thus, Just Cakes was officially born in 2010. Over the years, the small, home-based business has grown popularity and presence in the local community and amongst social media, allowing Raveena to pay for post-secondary education all the while. After receiving her BA degree at the University of British Columbia, Raveena travelled to Paris, France to learn from the best French chefs about the art of pastry. Returning in 2016, Raveena began to plan what we know now as Just Cakes Bakeshop. With the bakery doors opening in July 2017, Raveena’s passion is ignited afresh daily, and she continues to fruitfully enjoy the reactions and positive feedback the Bakeshop has since received. Raveena’s favorite things on the menu are cream puffs – it reminds her of the traditional but oh-so-good pastries she enjoyed in her days in Paris.

Whitney Marie

I’m Whitney and I’ve been a part of the Just Cakes family since May 2017. From starting out in Raveena’s kitchen, to managing the bakery, Just Cakes is now home. I’m a Red Seal baker & pastry chef. I love to work on my craft every day – whether it be in decorating cakes or making pastries. My favorite thing on the menu is my famous carrot cake.

Madison Clarke

My name is Madison! I have been a part of the Just Cakes family since November 2017. I am an aspiring Red Seal pastry chef, and my love for the art of pastry is all in the fine details! My favorite thing to make (and eat) is our Rocher mousse – there are so many different layers of chocolate-hazelnut goodness – how can you not love it?

Asmaa Patel

My name is Asmaa and I’ve been a part of the Just Cakes family since day one when we opened in July 2017. I love making Cake Jars, tasting the buttercream to make sure it’s perfect is the best part. My favourite item on the menu is the coconut- mango-passionfruit mousse, – a little passion goes a long way! 😉

Seema Sidhu

My name is Seema, I joined the Just Cakes family in July 2017! One of my favourite things to bake are brownies because, come on, they’re just SO delicious. Besides brownies, one of my favorite desserts we have in store is our pistachio and raspberry mousse cake. It is the perfect balance of sweet, nutty, and fresh!

Noor Sandhawalia

My name is Noor, I joined the Just Cakes family when we opened back in July 2017! One of my favourite things to bake are cupcakes – the options are endless with cupcakes. My personal favorite flavor is Reese – yum peanut butter! I would highly recommend our Reese cake jars, too! I promise you won’t regret it./em>
